Rich, strong history<\/h3>\n\t\t\t

G.H. van Leeuwen’s acquisition of the Veenendaal store started by his parents in oil, barrels and hardware over 120 years ago, marks the beginning of the rich history of our fine company as a hardware specialist. In addition to products such as stoves, oil cans, cribs and even strollers, the firm’s hardware was particularly popular in those early days. Most of these products come directly from our own ironworks.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

First Dutch factory of American hinges<\/h3>\n\t\t\t
\n

When in 1916 the name of the factory changes to \u201cVeenendaalsche Stoomfabrieken voor de IJzerindustrie voorheen G.H. van Leeuwen,\u201d it is even listed as \u201cFirst Dutch factory of American hinges. In the years that follow, the company increasingly specializes in hanging hardware. That business is expanded in the mid-1930s with the sale and later production of quality wheel locks.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
